Oscar winner Octavia Spencer is the first to jump on the bandwagon, joining Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Kate Winslet for the second instalment of the four-part saga.
According to EW, Spencer will play Johanna, “leader of the Amity faction.” We presume fans of Veronica Roth’s books know what that means.
Insurgent, to be directed by Robert Schwentke, hits cinemas March 20, 2015.
Divergent, as of this writing, has grossed $258 million worldwide.
